One of the few tea factories in Mauritius that are still in operation, the Bois Chéri tea factory and plantation are an integral part of the country’s identity. PREMIUM TEAS
Bois Chéri white, black, and green Premium teas are of top-notch quality. The leaves are hand-picked and served with minimal processing, creating a pure and delicate product.

In addition to black tea, Bois Chéri also offers flavoured tea. Vanilla tea is made by adding the vanilla powder to tea, while other flavoured teas are made with natural essences.

Le thé est synonyme de souvenirs pour tous les Mauriciens. 🥰
Certains se rappelleront peut-être des après-midi après la sortie d`école où on se précipitait chez soi pour boire un bon thé chaud dans un gobelet en aluminium, aussi appeler ``gilas``.
Chaque famille mauricienne possédait un deksi dite, un passe-thé et une boîte en métal où se conservait les feuilles de thé en vrac.
Bien que la méthode de préparation du thé ait évolué avec le temps, la méthode ancienne reste toujours notre préférée. 🤗

Le thé vert doit son nom à la méthode de préparation qui consiste à empêcher l`oxydation excessive des feuilles de thé.
Celles-ci sont généralement cueillies à la main puis chauffées afin de stopper l`oxydation. C`est ainsi que les feuilles conservent leur belle couleur verte ainsi que leur bienfaits. 😌
